A Southern Christmas: Nashville & The Biltmore Estate/Chihuly Glass

November 29-December 4, 2024

Join us for a beautiful and fun time in the Music City, Nashville, TN, and then on to America’s largest home, The Biltmore Estate.


This historic home, built by George Vanderbilt in 1895, will be decorated for Christmas with many trees, miles of garland and hundreds of poinsettias. Experience this magical time of year with these two amazing stops!

Day 1: Excitement builds as we journey to Nashville, TN for our 2-night stay at the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort. You’ll have time to explore the resort and enjoy all the Christmas decorations and take a few pictures as the evening is on your own.


Day 2: Good Morning! You’ll have time to use your ticket for the Delta River flatboat ride inside the resort before we depart for a delightful lunch on the General Jackson Showboat. We’ll cruise on the Cumberland River and get a fabulous skyline view of Nashville. This evening we will enjoy a Country Christmas Dinner and Show at the Gaylord Hotel!


Day 3: Bags out for loading this morning. We will make our way to tour the Country Music Hall of Fame, also known as the “Smithsonian of Country Music”. We will enjoy a self-guided tour and explore the best of Country Music, past and present. 


After this awesome tour, we will begin our journey to the magnificent Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. We will check in at our hotel to freshen up before leaving for dinner at

the Stable Cafe on the grounds of the Biltmore. After dinner, we will go on a self-guided audio candlelight tour of the mansion with live holiday music, flickering candle lights, holiday lights, thousands of ornaments on magnificent Christmas trees, miles of garland, thousands of poinsettias, and beautiful wreaths. This is truly a magical evening at the Biltmore Estate. After this tour we head back to our hotel

for the night.


Day 4: We will return to the elaborate Biltmore Estate for a self-guided tour of the beautiful grounds before we visit the famous Chihuly Glass Exhibit! You will also have time to visit the winery & Antler Village. Lunch is on your own at the Biltmore which has several options. We will return to the hotel after having spent a wonderful day making fond memories at the fabulous Biltmore Estate. You will have the rest of the evening to enjoy as you wish. Our hotel sits on the parking lot of the Biltmore Square Mall!


Day 5: With bags packed and a full stomach, we board the coach and head back to Nashville where we will tour the Ryman Auditorium. It is most well known for being home to the broadcasts of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. The tour will take us through the years of entertainment history. Lunch is on your own. We will check in at our hotel.

A light dinner is served at the hotel.


Day 6: Breakfast is included at the hotel. Lunch is on Beale Street. Today we will reflect on the fond memories and beautiful sights we’ve experienced over the last few days as we travel home.
